The Fuse Festival was one of the events held alongside performances by Deadmau5 and Matt Mays and free entertainment on the 150th Canada Day celebration in Halifax. It brought together local artists from all walks of life onto one stage.
The Fuse Festival was a project run by the Atlantic Flamenco Productions Society (AFP) with Maria Osende as the art director of the event. It was a non-profit organization that promotes diversity in dance thus, the Fuse Festival was brought into existence. It was a collaboration of cultures coming together to celebrate, express, and explore diversity through dance. The Fuse Festival was the perfect opportunity for everyone to experience dance through diversity and celebrate various forms of dance throughout Halifax.
